DonÂt even think about running this until late July or August when the rest of the Crystal drainage is unrunnable because of low water. The good levels are from 200cfs to 350cfs. Somewhere above 400cfs this run turns absolutely evil! There are legends told around the campfire of big-name sponsored boaters going in at 500 or 600 cfs and getting their butts kicked!
