Gauge Description:
This is a flashy watershed and the Delta gauge often does not accurately reflect the levels of the North Tyger. If you are not familiar with the North Tyger, I suggest soliciting local information. For current information about river levels, email Jim Spears who has graciously agreed to be a local contact. Local rainfall is critical. Two sites to post a planned trip on or to request information are Carolina Paddlers Assembly and Upstate Paddling. You will have to join these groups to post but they are open to the public. You may pick up some local paddlers as well as the North Tyger is a popular local reach when it is running.Gauge Information
