Gauge Information

Gauge Description:

With a watershed extending all the way from NC the New River is never too low to run. You will find recreational boaters and fisherman floating this section at all summertime levels. However, the playboating at McCoy Falls starts to get good over 3 feet, this is when the whitewater crown shows up.
