The local (paddlers) gauge is located at the intersections of Highways 64 and 55, Langlade, Wis. Park at the motel on the corner and walk down the stairs behind the motel. The gauge measures the level in inches.
Low flow is below 6 inches, medium between 6-12, and high above 12. Spring flood levels run in the 20s.
One inch on this gauge is roughly equal to 50 cfs on the USGS gauge.
