Gauge Information

Gauge Description:

A reading of 1.8 ft. on the SFSB Moorefield gauge, though it is an adjacent watershed, is a very good indicator of flow in the area of the described Cacapon run. The Great Cacapon gauge can also be used but is far downstream. Look for at least 2 feet on the Great Cacapon gauge. There is a painted gauge at the Rt. 127 takeout bridge with a pretty good zero.
