Gauge Description:
The Gauge is located at the begining of the "Upper" section of the Creek, some 7 miles up stream. Consider using the
North Branch of the Potomac Gauge as a guide before driving there. Make sure it's on the rise and running 5 feet or better! The Stony relies on releases from Vepco Dam in Mount Storm - BUT! Heavy rains and Spring run off will add ample flow on this section without the release.
