Gauge Information

Gauge Description:

Check the AFWS Gage at Rock Bridge (scroll down to Rock Bridge). From studying the gauge frequently during rain periods, it appears that 2 feet is a good minimum, with 4 feet being high. After a run at what was concluded to be medium, 2.3 was the correlation at the afws Rock Bridge gauge.

Two Jackson County afws rain gauges, Hogback and Panthertown, are located in the two forks of the watershed. Look for a minimum of 1.5 inches in the last 12 hours, or 2-3 inches in the last 24 hours.
