Gauge Information

Gauge Description:

Seven to eight feet on the USGS gauge is a good level; ten is a fast flush with no eddies, and you could probably mountain bike the steambed at five feet.

There are occasional 800-cfs releases out of Caesar Creek Lake.
Click here for the release schedule. (Clicking will open a new browser window.)

Minimum fun level is approx 6.5 feet; I can't say there is a max but the fun level decreases at flood as it all washes out.
