Gauge Description:

Visual. Check the Humptulips River gauge and look for flows of at least 2000 cfs. If it's much lower than that you'll be scraping yourself off the lip. Right around 4000 cfs is a good level. Before the Humptulips gauge was in place a a good check was the nearby Queets when flows are in the range of 5,000 to 10,000.
