Gauge Information

Gauge Description:

The gauge listed above is located just downstream of the take-out. Look for a minimum of 100 cfs at the put-in (put-in cfs = "Eagle at Redcliff" + "Homestake Creek at Gold Park"), although locals run this as low as 60 at the put-in. The difference in put-in flow and take-out flow can be attributed primarily to Fall Creek, which comes in about halfway down the run (obvious). The minimum recommended flow level corresponds roughly to a 1'-6" to 2' reading on the dowd stick gauge, located a ways downstream, at the beginning of Dowd Chute.
