Gauge Description:
The gauge is on the upstream river left side of the Broad Brook Road Bridge. Levels are: 1'=low, 2'=medium, 3'= high at levels higher than this it would be good to know the run as eddies will dissapear and clearence under the two bridges will be questionable. To correlate of the Ash is decieving because the Ash holds its water really well which indicates Broad Brook to be running for a long time, but this is not the case. Because Broad Brook loses its water so quickly regardless of how high the Ash is it will usually be at a good level for about 48 hours after a big rain.
