River DescriptionGetcher Moose Fest Newspaper here! (pdf file, 1.5 MB)This 3 mile stretch of Moose River runs parallel with Moose River Road from the Gauge Station to the Iron Bridge. The river is only visible from the road at the put-in and then again near the take-out. There are 4 named rapids on this section of the river, considered a great run for beginners, and is even runnable throughout most of the summer months. See also:
