Terri Cressman, 46, and her husband Paul, 50, attempted to run rain-swollen Saucon Creek in Pennsylvania on November 29, 2004. The canoe capsizedand pinned against a downed tree. trapping Ms. Cressman. Her husband attempted to free her and called for help. Rescue crews transported the couple to St. Luke's Hospital. Ms. Cressman died there; Mr. Cressman was listed in fair condition with hypothermia.
