A man's body has been recovered from the Kern River.
Lawrence Holguin, 60, of Bakersfield, was swept away in the river near Hart Park on April15th after his raft flipped over, according to the Kern County Sheriff's Office. His body was found Saturday, two weeks after he went missing. The discovery was found in the river near the 5600 block of Shadow Hills Drive.
